Daejeon Hana Citizen have secured the loan signing of Brazilian winger André Luis from Corinthians. The 22 year-old is predominantly left footed but can play on either flank.

In 2019 André Luis played 24 times on loan at Fortaleza Esporte Clube from Corinthians in Serie A, scoring two goals. In 2018, playing for Associação Atlética Ponte Preta, he played 35 times, scored 11 goals and recorded two assists. His first year as a professional was in 2017 for Santa Cruz Futebol Clube, scoring three times and recording two assists in 35 appearances.

Speaking via the club's official media channels, André Luis said: "I heard that Daejeon Hana Citizen are making a brand new start. Also, this is with a meaningful challenge for me in K League. My goal is the same as the team's. I want to help the team and be a player who is loved by the fans.

Daejeon have been extremely active in the transfer market already and announced the acquisitions of goalkeeper Kim Dongjun from Seongnam, Lee Kyuro and Yoon Seungwon, Lee Seulchan, and Choi Jaehyeon, Jung Heewong from Jeonnam Dragons, Park Jinseop from Ansan Greeners, and Koo Bonsang from FC Anyang, as well as Connor Chapman from Western United.
