News: Daejeon Citizen's 2018 Season 56-man Squad Numbers

Barely recognisable from the squad of a mere year ago, squad numbers for a 50-plus player Daejeon Citizen squad have been released for the 2018 season. From the squad that recorded the Purples' lowest ever finish, bottom of the second tier, only nine first-team players have been kept on by new gaffer Ko Jongsoo and CEO Kim Ho.

Daejeon Citizen's enourmous 54-man squad for 2018 contains just eight players who represented the club last year, only two of those from the very start of the season. Amongst those, attacking midfielder Jung Minwoo has moved from 19 to 9, towering defender Yun Junseong, who returned from Sangju midway through the season, has moved from 55 to 4, forward Park Daehoon has moved from 28 to 16. Elsewhere, striker Kim Chanhee has switched from 24 to 19, full back Park Jaewoo from 12 to 26, whilst Shin Hakyoung, Yun Shinyoung, and Jeon Sanghoon have kept their 13, 22, and 23 shirts respectively. Daejeon's two new foreign stars, namely Filip Hlohovsky will wear the number 10, whilst Pedro Henrique will wear 91.
