KLU Pod | 2002 World Cup Rewind: Episode 4 - Portugal 0-1 Korea
The K League United Podcast continues the celebration of 20 years since the 2002 World Cup in South Korea and Japan as this episode seems them relive Korea's final group match, a crunch tie with initial group favourites Portugal who were looking to stay alive in the competition. Matt and Paul review the match before being joined by some special guests.
June 14th 2002 saw South Korea enter their final group game against a golden generation of Portuguese talent with the possibility of making it through to the knockout stages for the first time in their history.
Matt and Paul go over the match and talking points before being joined by K League United's own Jung Muyeol to find out how it was to be in-country taking it all in. Not only that, we are also later joined by Daniel Pinto from the Seleção Podcast.
