KLU Pod | 2022 Pre-season Episode 2: Interpreters with Kim Min-su
What's it like to be an interpreter in K League? Is it stressful trying to translate into two foreign languages at the same time? To answer these questions, Paul speaks to former K League interpreter Kim Min-su in an exclusive interview.
Last week, in the first of our 2022 pre-season specials, we heard from Jeong Hoe-won, a K League agent who like many intermediaries or agents will be looking to bring some foreign players into Korea.
Some players, then, will need interpreters to help translate manager and coach instructions and to generally help them settle into life in a foreign country.
So, to find out what it’s like to be a K League interpreter, Paul speaks to Kim Min-su who, most recently, was with Daejeon Hana Citizen but he has also worked with Jeonnam Dragons, Busan IPark, Incheon United and Suwon Bluewings.
