KLU Pod | 2022 Pre-season Episode 1: Agents with Jeong Hoe-won

K League United Podcast Pre-season Episode Agents WIO Consulting Jeong Hoe-won

Even though the 2021 season only drew to a close just over a month ago, attention now turns to 2022. With an expected mid-February start date, pre-season is extra early this year. First up in our pre-season specials is agents with K League agent Jeong Hoe-won.

Before season five of the K League United Podcast officially kicks off, we will be bringing some shorter episodes to whet the appetite before the 2022 season gets underway.

And, as it is January, that means the transfer window is now open in K League.  We’ve already seen some moves happen but there will be a lot more still to come.

Pivotal in any transfer, or certainly in most, will be the agents helping to broker the deal, negotiate contracts, and get their clients’ names out there. Whether they’ll be looking to move some big stars from one K League club to another or take young talent abroad, January is a busy time.

To gain an insight into what it’s actually like to be a K League agent we hear from Jeong Hoe-won of WIO Football Consulting.
