Preview: Bucheon 1995 Vs Ansan Greeners

Preview: Bucheon 1995 Vs Ansan Greeners K League 2 Round 13
Ansan Greeners visit Bucheon 1995 off of the back of a huge win over league leaders Seongnam FC in K League 2 this Sunday. Meanwhile, the Greeners' hosts Bucheon will be looking to put a halt to their run of defeats and make the most of the familiarity of home.

Last Time Out

Bucheon lie in second coming off the back of two defeats to Asan Mugunghwa and Seoul E-Land, having scored only three goals in their last five games. Bucheon have won just two of their last eight after going on a five game winning streak at the start of the season. This is game five of Bucheon's bizarre run of ten consecutive home matches, and they will be looking for anything after a miserable 3-0 defeat by Seoul E-land last time out,
Ansan come into the tie on a high after a huge win over league leaders Seongnam at the Wa Stadium on Monday. Lee Geon struck his second and third goals of the season to give the Greeners a 2-1 win and end a run of defeats.

Previous Meetings

The last time that these two teams met, Bucheon topped the table while Ansan lay just three points behind. The situation is the same a month later, only Bucheon no longer top the table, remaining in second and Ansan lie just outside of the playoffs.
Ansan had only managed a single draw in four encounters with Bucheon before the April meeting, before stunning the league with a huge 3-1 victory. Bucheon led within ten minutes thanks to Lee Kwangjae before Ansan began a massive second half comeback. Seku Conneh's first goal from open play and a brace from Choi Hojoo sent the home fans wild in what stands as a marquees victory in the Greeners era, until Monday's defeat of Seongnam at least.

Team News

Bucheon have gone so far off the boil that there is little to add since the last preview. Brazilian striker Willian Popp missed the last encounter and his return will present the biggest threat to Ansan. Defender Lim Donghyeok is available for selection again after serving a one-match ban,

Ansan are still missing Raul but with Lee Geon stepping up in the last game, and making the K2 team of the week, the Greeners will hope his confidence and example will get the other strikers firing. Ansan could also still be without top scorer Choi Hojoo.

Prediction

Bucheon have been poor and simply must respond after a terrible showing last time out. Ansan have a huge opportunity to overtake the second placed side and that should be enough to keep Bucheon's guard up. A not-so-entertaining draw is on the cards.

Predicted Score: Bucheon 1995 1- 1 Ansan Greeners
