The Year Ahead

To celebrate the 2017 season kicking off at long last, K-League United is hitting the road again! Our writers will be in several cities March 4th and 5th and would love to meet up to talk about season expectations, notable transfers, and all of the football happening in Korea in the year ahead. U20 World Cup

The youth tournament that takes place every two years is coming to Korea in 2017. From May 20th through June 11th the best and brightest young players from across the globe will descend on Cheonan, Daejeon, Incheon, Jeju, Jeonju, and Suwon for the 24 team tournament. The 2017 CONCACAF Under-20 Championship will be played in Costa Rica from 18 February to 5 March 2017. The top four teams qualify for Korea 2017.The Africa U-20 Cup of Nations 2017 will be played in Zambia from 26 February to 12 March 2017. The top four teams qualify for Korea 2017.
