Transfer Talk: Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors

How active do you think your team will be in the winter window?

There isn't much needed on the field and I think other than the BIG signing Jeonbuk has been hinting at, there won't be many more coming. We still have an Asian spot left but we might leave that open for now.

What's your team's biggest area of need? Who are some potential targets you'd like to see fill those holes?

We need a striker, and someone who can score in the AFC. I think we are pretty set everywhere else for a 3rd league title.

Is there someone on the team you'd like to see loaned out or sold?

I think Lee Jae Myong isn't getting the playing time he needs to progress. Lee Seung Hyun was barely used last season and our midfield will only get more crowded with the return of Lee Seung Ki.

What transfers have already taken place and how do you see them playing out in 2016?

Lee Jong Ho is the biggest signing we have made. I think he can turn out to be a great striker for us over the years to come and I am excited to see him play in the AFC.

Who's an "ideal" signing that would do well in the K-League?

Two names that I would like to see at Jeonbuk next season are Fernando Torres and Lee Geun Ho. Jeonbuk needs a striker, someone who can put the ball in the net in any situation. As a fan of the K-League this will be the first step to bring back popularity, but would also help the Korean side keep up in the AFC. Lee Geun Ho probably isn't wanted by too many big teams in the league, but he works well under Choi Kang Hee and he works HARD. I think that is the type of player Choi is looking for on his roster and he'd do well in out midfield feeding balls to the top.
