K-League Summer Transfer Window Recap

A traditionally quiet window saw a ton of movement in both K-League Classic and Challenge with notable departures and a huge influx of Brazilian players.

Thanks to the remarkable efforts of Korea Football News (@KORFootballNews) and Viva La K-League (@kleagueno1) a comprehensive list of this summer's K-League transfers can be seen below. Notable exits from Jeonbuk Hyundai's Edu to China League One side Hebei Zhongji F.C. and Suwon's Jong Tae-se to J. League Division 1's Shimizu S-Pulse showed a disturbing trend of K-League stars leaving for lower divisions abroad. Meanwhile, Daejeon Citizen had nearly a complete roster overhaul propelled by the sale of Adriano to FC Seoul. There was also a large influx of Brazilian footballers to the league this window with 10 of the 23 K-League teams adding at least one Brazilian to their side.

If there's anyone we've missed, or if you have thoughts on your team's moves, please feel free to leave a comment below!
