The Walking Dead
I saw this on the Diablos Facebook page. HT to Paul Carver for providing this information. I am going to quote his post as follows:
"FYI We've suffered a few injuries in the past week so it'll be quite a makeshift squad for our next few games. Duri will be out for a month with an ankle injury. Kim jin-kyu will be out for 10 weeks with a torn calf, Osmar will be about for a few weeks with a broken nose and Chu-young will be out for two months with a twisted knee...let's see what some of the reserves can do"
Again, HT to Paul Carver on the Diablos Facebook page.
Wow- that is quite an injury list. There is some discussion on the board as who is to blame- the board or Choi, the coach. Most fans blame the board, which is fair enough, since they choose who to buy and sell.
I think it would be unfair to fire Choi at this stage of the game, especially with a significant portion of the first team injured. However, there were many problems before the injuries occurred, especially with their anemic offense. I have said it before, and I will say it again, it is going to be a long season. If Choi makes it into the top 3 again, I will be mighty impressed.
