With some recent transfers made and injuries sustained, the breakdown of club allocations for Team K League has changed slightly. While it remains four Pohang Steelers players making it into the squad and three from Ulsan HD, it is now also three from Gangwon FC*, two from Gimcheon Sangmu, Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors*, and FC Seoul while Daegu FC*, Suwon FC, Daejeon, Incheon, and Jeju each have just one.
A total of 14 players are domestic with the remaining eight being foreigners.
Injury has forced Jesse Lingard and Ki Sung-yueng to withdraw; Jeong Ho-yeon and Oberdan of Gwangju FC and Pohang Steelers respectively have been brought in as replacements. It was also announced on Monday, July 29th that Daegu FC wingback Hwang Jae-won will have to withdraw through injury; Gangwon's Hwang Mun-ki has been called up as his replacement.
Daejeon Hana Citizen's 17-year-old prodigy Yoon Do-young also makes it in as one of two teenagers along with Yang Min-hyuk.
There are first Team K League appearances for many including Hwang In-jae, Park Jin-seop, Jeong Ho-yeon, Oberdan, Stanislav Iljutcenko, Lee Myung-jae, Lee Dong-gyeong, Choi Jun, and Jeong Jae-hee, among those who have been in K League for a number of years.
Hwang Jae-won makes it for the second year in a row, as too Joo Min-kyu while Lee Seung-woo is in for the third year in a row. Cesinha also makes his third appearance but missed the 2022 iteration due to injury.
Only Jo Hyeon-woo, who is in his fourth Team K League squad, Lee Seung-woo, and Joo Min-kyu remain from the Team K League squad that faced Tottenham in 2022.
*Daegu FC's contingent is reduced from two to one due to Hwang Jae-won's injury; Gangwon's increased from two to three due to Hwang Mun-ki's late call-up. Lee Seung-woo's move from Suwon FC to Jeonbuk means the breakdowns change.
