#KLUpod | K League 1 Round 1 Recap

K League 1 returned as did the fans in their droves as record attendances across the country for Korea's top-flight soared. Matthew Binns and Paul Neat look back at all six matches in an entertaining opening weekend and have a number of interviews as well from the mixed zones of Ulsan, Seoul and Daejeon.

K League 1 kicked-off on Saturday 25th Februrary down at Ulsan Munsu Stadium where the Champions Ulsan Hyundai took on FA Cup Winners Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors, before later in the afternoon saw FC Seoul face Incheon United in the Gyeongin Derby (or is it a derby? Listen to find out why) and Suwon Samsung Bluewings against Gwangju FC.

Then, we move swiftly to Sunday where Pohang Steelers hosted Daegu in an entertaining affair, while Daejeon Hana Citizen made their return to K League 1 known as they faced Gangwon FC. Jeju United also played Suwon FC.

On top of recaps of all six matches, we have six mixed zone interviews as well including, Ulsan Hyundai's Gustav Ludwigson, FC Seoul's Ki Sung-yueng, Incheon United's Gerso Fernandes and the Daejeon trio of Anton, Leandro and Thiago to round things off.
