2021 K League 1 Round 14 Part 2 Preview

Despite the AFC Champions League and Asian Qualifiers-forced break, there are two K League 1 matches coming up this weekend. The first is the rearranged Round 14 encounters between Gwangju FC and FC Seoul before Seongnam FC's trip to the Munsu to take on Ulsan Hyundai.

The bottom two collide on Saturday afternoon as Gwangju FC take on FC Seoul. Gwangju have lost four out of their last five and eight out of their last 10 and so will be desperate to pick up a first win since April when 11th placed FC Seoul make the trip south. FC Seoul make a first trip to Gwangju Football Stadium on the back of a 10-match win-less run, 11 in all competitions.

Before departing for the AFC Champions League Group Stage, current Asian champions Ulsan Hyundai will welcome the visit of Seongnam FC this Sunday afternoon. Ulsan are the division's most in-form team with four straight wins and unbeaten in eight. Hosts Seongnam, meanwhile, are without a win in their last seven league matches and sit ninth in the table heading into the weekend. A win for FC Seoul away to Gwangju on Saturday could see the Magpies slip to 11th.
