K League 1 Round 19 Preview

With the K League 1 regular season coming to its final stages, Ulsan Hyundai's win last weekend coupled with Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors surprise loss to Gangwon FC saw the Horangi open up a four-point gap at the top of the table. Round 19 starts in Sangju this Friday as Kim Tae-wan's side host Suwon Samsung Bluewings hoping to consolidate third place. Seongnam FC host Jose Morais' Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors on Saturday before Busan IPark travel to an FC Seoul side that could boast a first start for Ki Sung-yueng. Saturday evening sees potentially the match of the round as Pohang Steelers host Daegu FC with both sides in Asian Champions League contention. Before Ulsan round off the weekend at home to Gwangju FC, Incheon United enter last-chance saloon territory as they travel east to face Gangwon FC.
