KLU Pod | Round 10 Recap & FA Cup Preview

Summer is a gloriously busy time in Korean football, and the first few weeks of July are certainly living up to that with two FA Cup rounds and plenty of K League action in between.

Ryan Walters is joined once again by Matthew Binns and Peter Hampshire to break down a wild weekend in K League 1 that saw 28 goals scored in just two days! They discussing whether or not Byung-soo Ball is all that, Daegu's hot streak putting them back in ACL contention, and Jeonbuk being there for the taking this season.

The three shift focus to the FA Cup Round of 16 in the second segment with some truly tasty match ups on the cards. The "Hwang Sun-hong Derby" between Daejeon Hana Citizen and FC Seoul, and the renewed Honam Derby with Jeonbuk hosting Jeonnam give them plenty to discuss. After a brief preview for each match, the three then take their picks and choose the teams that will move on to the Semi-finals.

Finally, Peter has his go with Room 101 and makes the argument to chuck the split round into the bin. After a spirited argument, Ryan plays devil's advocate to keep things as they currently stand and Matthew weighs in with the final decision.

All that and more in this edition of the K League United Podcast.
