KLU Pod | Globablizing Korean Coaching

Ahead of the recently restructured K4 season in which Goyang Citizen will take the field with a new manager and revamped vision on and off the pitch, we sit down with two of the men integral to the club's strategy to discuss globalizing Korean coaching.

Wae-In Sports CEO and Goyang Citizen FC Director of Football Tom Orrock joins host Ryan Walters once again to talk coaching in Korea. They're joined by Goyang Citizen head coach and STV FC CEO Hong Moon to discuss the barriers to starting a coaching career and the struggle to find meaningful Continuing Professional Development opportunities afterwards.

In the second segment the three dive into globalized development (and the reluctance to it) in every division of Korean football from the pros down to the youth level. Finally, they look to the future and discuss different ways to support the next generation of players and coaches and avoid dropouts.

All that and more in this edition of The K League United Podcast.
