2020 K League Kit Design Contest

The fourth annual K League Kit Contest is here at long last! While we wait for the 2020 season to kick off, we've challenged the amazing designers of Design Football to see what they can come up with for K1 and K2 clubs.

After collecting entries from around the globe, voting will take place on Design Football, PatreonTwitterFacebook, and Instagram to determine the very best of the newly designed kits. The winner will receive a full K League kit as well as a write up here on KLeagueUnited.com to explain their thought process behind the kit design and talk a little bit about their design background.

Competition Rules

  1. The challenge will begin when 12 people are signed up. Those that wish to do more than one design may do so. Designers must mention they would like to do more than one design when signing up and they'll be randomly assigned a second team.
  2. Each of the 12 designers will be randomly assigned a 2020 K League 1 team.
  3. If more than 12 designers sign up, they will be assigned a 2020 K League 2 team.
  4. The entrants will then be randomly drawn into four groups.
  5. The designer with the most votes in the group will advance to the semi-finals and will be ranked 1st-4th based on total votes received.
  6. 1st place will face off vs 4th place, and 2nd vs 3rd.
  7. The semi-final winners will face off for one final vote and winner will be crowned.

Design Rules

  1. Each participant is required to design a full team kit for a team competing in the 2020 K League 1 or K League 2.
  2. The team will be randomly picked and the designer may choose to do home or away (or both).
  3. Any manufacturer may be used for the kit.
  4. Every kit must have a chest sponsor.
  5. The minimum dimensions for each submission is 1000px tall or wide.
  6. Full kits including shirt, shorts, and socks is required. Back of the kit is optional.
  7. Designers will have one week to design their kits.

Voting Rules

  1. Submission deadline is March 25th.
  2. Group Stage voting will take place March 26th-29th.
  3. Semi-Finals voting will take place March 30th - April 1st.
  4. Finals voting will take place April 2nd-5th.
  5. The winning design will be the one with the most combined votes on all platforms.
  6. In the case of a tie, there will be a coin flip to determine the winner.

Designers may enter the contest by commenting on the original post on DesignFootball.com.

Enjoy building out the kits and good luck!
