Transfers: Nahir Besara to FC Seoul?

FC Seoul are in the hunt to sign Örebro SK midfielder Nahir Besara according to reports in the Swedish press. It is believed that FC Seoul have been over to Sweden to watch Besara and talks have taken place between the club and Besara.

FC Seoul are being heavily linked with Swedish midfielder Nahir Besara about a possible free transfer during the winter window. With the ÖSK star's contract is due to expire in December, Besara is expected to play what will be his last match for the club against Swedish giants IFK Göteborg on Sunday 11th November.

"We have not decided yet. For as long as I have not signed for another club, you never know what's happening. We'll make a decision tomorrow, " said Nahir Besara.

"There is a lot of interest in me and now it is important to get something good. We are watching and I have not decided anything or signed for another club. But there is interest and I know that I will not be without a club by the time the year is over" added Besera when speaking to the Swedish press on Friday at the Club's training facility.

According to reports in Sweden, on 1st October, a delegate from FC Seoul was at Behrn Arena to scout Nahir Besara during ÖSK's home fixture with Trelleborg's FF. Besara scored two goals in the second half in a 4-0 victory and so interest from FC Seoul is said to be high but Besara himself refrained from mentioning any specific clubs.

"I have a thing that is super interesting", Besara exclaimed. "It's the option we're working hard on. Then there are some other things that are interesting as well. They [FC Seoul] are one of the clubs that have been interested. I know they've been here and looked at me, but I can not say which team it is yet. I feel calm and not stressed, " said Nahir Besara.

So, just who is this player whom the fallen K League giants are being linked with? Nahir Besara is a 27 year-old former Swedish youth international attacking midfielder who has spent the vast majority of his career in his native Sweden. His current club, Örebro SK, are ninth in Allsvenskan, the Swedish top flight, with just one game of the 2018 season remaining.

Besara has made 72 appearances for ÖSK and scored 19 goals after signing from Turkish Super Liga side Göztepe S.K. in 2016. In addition to ÖSK, Nahir Besara has played for Assyrian FF and Hammarby and made his debut in 2008. Besara is said to be a skillfull attacking midfielder who can create as well as score goals, and is comfortable using both feet.
