Transfer Talk: Incheon United

Transfer Talk: Incheon United's Moon Seon-min
It could be an important Summer Transfer Window for Incheon United as they are currently deep in the relegation battle in the K League 1. They also have a new head coach in Jørn Andersen which also making things interesting.

Which player(s) signed in the Winter Transfer Window has performed best for your team this season?

Top goalscorer Stefan Mugoša has been a highlight signing from the Winter Transfer Window. He has scored seven in 12 games so far, scoring against sides such as Jeonbuk Hyundai and Jeju United.
Costa Rican Elías Aguilar has also been impressive since arriving at the start of the season. He's only scored once, but his creativeness in the centre of midfield as been something which Incheon United have missed in recent seasons.

Which position (if any) do you think your team needs to target most this transfer window?

Scoring goal hasn't been an issue, stopping goals has been though. Therefore I'd like Incheon to sign a centre back to partner with Gordan Bunoza. We've missed Connor Chapman since his move to Pohang Steelers so a similar type of player would be warmly welcomed.

Is there a player within K-League you'd like to see your team sign? An international player?

Cho Hyun-woo of course would be an epic signing, but I doubt Incheon could tempt him away from Daegu FC. Attacking midfielder/forward Na Sang-ho, currently at Gwangju in K League 2, would be a great signing. The 21 year-old is a possible star of the future and would get valuable game time at Incheon United. He's currently the top goalscorer in the K League 2 with seven, and could be tempted away.

Finally, from within the K League, Jeong Tae-wook from Jeju United would be a good signing on loan; he's 21 and needs game time. He's played well for the South Korea U20 side so I'm sure he could slot into the back line.

Incheon don't currently have any international slots open, but if they did I'd like them to sign Italian defender Andrea Masiello. He's had issues his recently but there's no ignoring he'd be excellent in the K League. He's also available on a free transfer from Serie A side Atalanta.

Is there someone on the team you'd like to see loaned out or sold?

Incheon United have a number of squad players who should either leave permanently or on loan. Forward Lee Hyo-gyun, midfielder Park Jong-jin and defender Kang Ji-yong could all leave as they're not playing and aren't really good enough to break into the first team.

Kim Deok-joong, Lee Jeong-bin, Noh Sung-min and Kim Hyeok-joong would all benefit from a few months out on loan in either the K League 2 or the National League. R-League games are useful but first team action would be better for their development.
