The K League United Elimination Game - Round 15
Another round, another player defeated. The K League United Elimination game enters its fifteenth round and only six of the original forty-plus competitors remain. There are very few easy fixtures left at this stage, and with half the participants on their remaining left, it's quite possible we could be saying goodbye to more players come the end of the weekend.
Round Fourteen Roundup
As the game goes into the 15th round, it’s becoming harder and harder for some of us to choose our teams. Sure-to-win teams have mostly been used up, and the schedule isn’t always in our favor.Which brings us to FC Seoul, a six time winner of the K-League, playing last place and relegation facing Incheon United. Playing in Incheon was sure to be tricky, and it was. Incheon won 2-1 making once seemingly winner-in-waiting James Edrupt look all too vulnerable by taking away his second life; he had been perfect through to Round 10. Perhaps a good rule for this game is to never underestimate Incheon. They also knocked out Jeonbuk in round 2 costing four players a life.
The player we’re saying goodbye to this week, because it seems like there’s at least one every week now, is Won-bin Bae. Won-bin played an incredibly aggressive game, and that likely cost him in the end. His first loss was in round 9 when he made a double choice; you can only choose a team once. His second life was lost when he was the first player to choose Anyang back in round 10. Then in round 14 he chose Bucheon 1995, a team that has taken over 10 lives from our players this game.
The game is now down to six players. Ferdinand Scheibl, Todd Wilde, and I have two lives each. James Edrupt, Adam Hicks, and Matthew Binns all have one life.
Choose wisely.
I’m taking Pohang.

Rules
Same rules as always; choose a team you are yet to select that you think will not lose. If that team is defeated then you lose a life. Make sure to also get your choices in by Friday 27th July at 19:00 KST otherwise you will also lose a life.
If you cannot remember teams you have selected in the past, please get in touch with either Jon Christian or myself.
Unfortunately, we are no longer accepting new entries for this game. Thank you for your interest in this competition. It will likely return for the start of the 2019 season.

The eventual winner of this competition will claim not only the admiration and respect of their peers, but also a K League United kit and a standard match ticket to any club match on Korean soil, home or away, to be used either this season or next.
