K League 2 Playoffs Confirmed

FC Anyang were crowned K League 2 champions on Saturday afternoon, but that's not the end of competitive football in the second division for this season. Jeonnam Dragons and Busan IPark have joined Seoul Eland and Chungnam Asan in the play-offs, which will take place between now and December 1st.

Following the final round of fixtures, Chungnam Asan FC have finished in 2nd spot, meaning they will bypass the K League 2 playoffs and go straight into a two-legged match up with the 11th placed team from K League 1 (still to be determined). Seoul E-Land FC, on the other hand, must eliminate the winners of the first round to face the 10th placed team (still to be determined) from K League 1.

Here are the K League 2 playoff fixtures.

First round

  • Jeonnam Dragons vs. Busan IPark

The winner of that one-off second round match will face the 10th placed team in K League. The details are as follows (and we will update this closer to the time):

  • Second Round winner vs. K League 1 10th placed team.
