News: Suwon Samsung Bluewings begin 2024 K League 2 campaign at home

Suwon Samsung Bluewings begin life in K League 2 at home to Chungnam Asan, for what will be the first-ever meeting between the two clubs, on Sunday 3rd March.
The K League on Friday 19th March released the fixtures for the forthcoming K League 2 season. The Bluewings are at home, taking on Chungnam Asan.

Much like the top division, the second tier's new season begins on Friday 1st March. Ansan Greeners welcome Gyeongnam FC and FC Anyang take on Seongnam FC, both at 14:00 KST.

There's a Gyeonggi Province derby of sorts when FC Anyang host Seongnam FC on Friday 1st March.

Bucheon FC 1995, who also fell short in the playoffs, take on last season's last-placed side Cheonan City, while Chungbuk Cheongju take on Jeonnam Dragons - both on Saturday 2nd March.

Busan IPark, after falling short in the playoffs last year, will be keen to get off to a positive start this time around. The South Coast side host Seoul E-Land for what should be the debut of Osmar Ibáñez.

Gimpo FC sit the opening round out.

It's a 39-round, 36-game campaign for the 13 teams in K League 2. Teams play each other three times with the last matches of the season going ahead on Saturday 9th November, all at 14:00.
