Atlético de Madrid squad to face Team K League announced

Atlético de Madrid have announced their squad of players that has travelled to South Korea to take on Team K League and Manchester City at Seoul World Cup Stadium as part of the Coupang Play Series.

It includes the likes of World Cup winners Antoine Griezmann and Rodrigo De Paul, as well as new recruits César Azpilicueta and Çağlar Söyüncü, not to mention club legends Koke and Jan Oblak.

The squad also includes João Félix and Alvaro Morata, despite the attacking duo being linked with moves away from the Estadio Metropolitano.

Atlético conducted their final pre-tour training session on Monday, 24th July before departing for South Korea from Madrid at 8 PM CET, according to Football-Espana, and are due to land at Incheon International Airport on Tuesday, 25th July at around 3:30 PM KST.

It will be one of a few long-haul flights for Los Colchoneros who will also head to Mexico to face fellow La Liga side Real Sociedad in Monterrey and then Sevilla in San Francisco, USA - a total of 33,285 km (20,672 miles). 

Atlético will take part in an open training session at Seoul World Cup Stadium on Wednesday 7 PM, before which Diego Simeone will face the Korean media with a press conference scheduled for 17:30 PM on the same day.
