News of Seongnam FC's promising young centre-back Kim Ji-soo move to English Premier League outfit Brentford has caught the headlines in K League circles with the opening of the summer transfer window. A player with much promise, Kim's potential move is nearing completion so we heard from our Seongnam FC columnist Diogo Valente to get a clearer picture of the player, his career so far and how he could potentially fit in England.

There has also been a managerial change in Gangwon as Choi Yong-soo saw his time at the currently struggling club come to a close. Gangwon have appointed Yoon Jong-hwan to the helm, and have brought in Yun Il-lok on loan to help the club climb out of their predicament. Gangwon FC columnist Nathan Sartain gives us a detailed look at the situation at Gangwon.
