KLU Pod | AFC U23 Asian Cup Preview

The defending U23 Asian Cup Champs are set to return to action in a group filled with Southeast Asian heavyweights!

After weeks away Ryan Walters returns to the host chair joined by Matthew Binns to preview the South Korean squad set to take on Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam in Group C of the 2022 AFC U23 Asian Cup!

The two begin with a position by position breakdown of the team assess whether or not it's a strength or weakness for the Taegeuk Warriors and which players to keep an eye on throughout the tournament.

For the second segment, Ryan welcomes in Keesh Sundaresan and Gian Chansrichawla to discuss what to expect from Malaysia and Thailand following their SEA Games performances and which players may cause the most concern for Korea in the group. Before moving on, Quan Tran Tue calls in to give his assessment of the back-to-back SEA Games gold medalists Vietnam ahead of their trip to Uzbekistan.

Lastly, the Eulji Lewis Mailbag returns with Matthew... er.... hosting questions about Malaysia's expected tactical setup, Thailand's truly unique coaching situation, and even a bit about Thai food.

All this and more, on this week's K League United Podcast.
