KLU Pod | K League 1 and 2 Recap, Jonathan Moya Exclusive and WCQ Preview.
The K League United Pod returns this week following a busy week of action in Korea's top two domestic divisions. FC Anyang's Jonathan Moya joins us this week for an exclusive interview and we discuss Korea Republic's prospects in Round Three of World Cup Qualifying.
Taking the host's chair for the first time on the KLU Podcast, Peter Hampshire is joined by Matthew Binns to recap all the talking points of last weekend in K League 1 and 2. Ulsan Hyundai clung on to victory against a spirited Incheon United to open up a seven-point gap in the top tier, while FC Anyang were held by neighbours Ansan Greeners in the #Line4Derby.
FC Anyang's goal scorer on Monday joined us on the pod as birthday boy Ryan Walters spoke to Jonathan Moya. 29-year-old Moya is joining with his Costa Rican National team mates for a crucial week of fixtures for Los Ticos and Moya discusses affairs in his homeland and adopted home of Anyang.
Paulo Bento's national team are also in action this week and alongside discussion with Matthew, Peter heard the thoughts of Steve Price as he prepares to take in the behind-closed doors opening groups games against Iraq and Lebanon.
Finally we turned our attention to listener questions in the Eulji Lewis Mailbag. An early dip saw us discuss the poor form of Suwon Samsung Bluewings, Suwon FC's new striker Tardeli's start in K League and chose our most unique side from a tactical perspective in each division . All that and more in this edition of the K League United Podcast!
