KLU Pod | Sasalak Haiprakhon to Jeonbuk, World Cup Qualifiers, and Osmar Interview

K League 1 may be on an extended summer break, but we certainly aren't! This week we welcome in guests from across the continent to talk summer transfers, World Cup Qualifiers, and a historic milestone for an FC Seoul legend.

Ryan Walters flies solo in the K League United Bunker this week, but is joined quickly by Thai League Central's Ta Lao to discuss Thai National Team and Buriram United defender Sasalak Haiprakhon's six month loan deal with Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors. The two discuss a bit about Sasalak's career so far and what the move may mean for him and other Thai players.

Peter Hampshire and Steve Price join for the second segment to take a closer look at the Korean National Team set to face off against Lebanon, Turkmenistan, and Sri Lanka in Group H of World Cup Qualifiers. With the Taeguk Warriors heavy favourites on home soil, the two discuss what can be learned from these matches.

Finally, Paul Neat joins for the third segment for an extended chat with FC Seoul midfielder Osmar. The two discuss what his 200th appearance for the club means to him, the 2021 season so far, and his career in general.

All that and more in this edition of the K League United Podcast!
