KLU Pod | Ricardo Peres Interview, Suwon Beats Jeonbuk, & K2 remains wild

Suwon halt the holders, K League 2 remains bonkers, and we hear how Busan IPark's manager Ricardo Peres' spirituality informs his team management.

Ryan Walters and Paul Neat host a rare two-man pod with just a few subjects on the docket.

They begin in K League 1 where Suwon Samsung Bluewings became the first team to defeat Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors in the 2021 season. The two discuss how the Bluewings did it and what other teams may be able to learn from their approach.

Todd Wilde joins for the second segment for a snippet of his expansive interview with Busan IPark manger Ricardo Peres. Along with future Busan columnist Lee Do-won, the three discuss Peres' spiritual journey and how it translates into his managerial philosophy.

K League 2 takes centre stage in the third segment where Ansan Greeners and Jeonnam Dragons both had massive wins over the weekend to stay near FC Anyang at the top of the table. As we all predicted pre-season... right?

Finally, the Eulji Lewis Mailbag ranges from the K1 split already being decided, just how good is Jung Sang-bin, and whether or not Gimcheon Sangmu should field a K4 club. All that and more in this edition of the K League United Podcast!
