KLU Pod | Doneil Henry Interview and K1 Title Race

For the first time in what feels like an age, four teams are challenging for top spot in K League 1! We'll take a look at each one with some help from special guest Doneil Henry.

Ryan Walters and Matthew Binns are joined by Jung Muyeol making his livestream debut to talk all things title race as the first division approaches its summer break.

After a brief discussion of the South Korean World Cup Qualifying and Olympic squads and any surprises or omissions therein, the three turn their attention to league leaders Ulsan Hyundai. Despite beating both Jeonbuk and Pohang in a single week, some doubts remain for a few of the hosts, but not without glimmers or hope.

Paul Neat joins for the second segment to speak with Suwon Samsung Bluewings defender Doneil Henry. Canadian international discusses his move to Korea, how the league compares to MLS, personal and team goals, and much more.

Matthew and the third place Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors take centre stage in the third segment with a focus on what's gone so wrong for them lately. Finally, Muyeol discusses Daegu's eight match unbeaten streak and how the club is pulling off their title contending run.

In the final segment, the Eulji Lewis Mailbag has questions about potential pressure on manager Kim Sang-sik, a look back at former Jeonbuk managers, and Suwon's title chances. All that and more in this edition of the K League United Podcast!
