KLU Pod | Weekend Recap & FA Cup Round 3 Preview

The first ever Seoul Derby is nearly upon us as the FA Cup reaches Round 3! But first, a look back on the weekend that was in K League 1 and 2.

Ryan WaltersPeter Hampshire, and Michael Redmond pick up after a week off with plenty to discuss in Korean football!

The three begin with a look back on K League 1 Round 9 where league leaders Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors pulled off their biggest league win in five years, FC Seoul fell at home, and Seongnam FC's Fejsal Mulić had a night to remember... and forget.

The second segment shifts focus to K League 2 where Michael takes the lead discussing Seoul E-Land's first loss of the season. Ryan and Peter chip in with a first in-person look at Ansan Greeners' Asnawi Mangkualam, Jeonnam's last minute winner, and FC Anyang's resilience.

FA Cup Round 3, and namely the first ever Seoul Derby between FC Seoul and Seoul E-Land takes centre stage in the third segment. The three assess the Leopards chances of pulling off the upset, where key battles will be won and lost, and what to expect on the lineup card.

Finally, the Eulji Lewis Mailbag features questions about the lower leagues, K2 playoffs, and a Sheffield Wednesday tour of Korea. All that and more in this edition of the K League United Podcast!
