Incheon are looking to go two from two as they travel to winless Gangwon FC

Incheon United travel over to Gangneung on Sunday afternoon looking to pick up their first away points of the season. Whilst hosts Gangwon FC will be hoping to kickstart their season and come away with a result that will move them off the bottom of the table.

Recent Form

Gangwon FC started the season poorly losing their opening three games, which included a five goal drubbing by Ulsan. However they've improved over the past week holding both Suwon Bluewings and Seongnam FC to pick up their first couple of points of the season. Gangwon are been equally poor both at home and away, during the open five games of the season.

Moving over to the visitors Incheon United who produced the performance of the round during the week beating ten man Suwon FC four-one. Prior to that win however they'd lose back-to-back games to local rivals FC Seoul and league leaders Ulsan Hyundai. But they should come into this game buoyed by their impressive display on Wednesday. It should be noted that their away form this season has been poor, losing both of their games on the road.

What to Watch

Gangwon have struggled so far this season and are currently bottom of the table. They have had issues both at the back and going forward. However in their past two outings they've looked more stable at the back however since experienced keeper Lee Beom-soo has been started. Also it seems like former Gwangju favorite Ashurmatov has now settled into his new team which has cemented the backline further.

Looking at the Gangwon attacking line and so far pre-season signing from Daegu Kim Dae-won is currently their top scorer with two goals to his name this season. Tall Serbian Silađi has a single goal to his name scoring last weekend again Suwon Bluewings. Gangwon will be hoping that Japanese forward Ishida maybe able to return for injury sooner rather than later.

Moving over to Sunday's visitors Incheon United they had looking lacked going forward, that was until Wednesday evening when four different players got their names on the scoresheet against Suwon FC. Brazilian Negueba, Costa Rican play maker Aguilar and former Busan forward Kim Hyun all shone on Wednesday evening. This type of form will allow star Stefan Mugosa a little extra time to prepare for his long awaited return. Also keep in mind that winger Song Si-woo is still out suspended following his sending off against FC Seoul.

At the back Incheon have looked improved for the most part with the experience of the Seok trio Oh Jae-seok, Oh Ban-seok and Kim Kwang-seok proving important. Finally keeper Lee Tae-hui produced a few fantastic stops in recent games confirming his spot as number one.

Who to Watch

Costa Rican midfielder Elias Aguilar played a blinder on Wednesday creating two and scoring one. He did sadly also miss a penalty, but the rest of his outstanding performance made up for it. So far this season he seems to have found both his scoring boots as well as some much needed match fitness. This means he'll be an important asset on Sunday for Incheon, especially as they'll most likely be without Stefan Mugosa again.
