With 2020 firmly behind us, attention shifts to the year ahead and the upcoming K League campaign. Ahead of Season 4 of The K League United Podcast, our writers will be providing a number of shorter episodes to get you ready for 2021.

With Season 4 of The K League United Podcast set to start airing in February, we will be offering a mixture of regular news briefings in addition to special "Pre-season" episodes to our supporters on our Patreon page ahead of the launch.

Pre-season Episode 1 - Friendlies

Awakening from their winter hibernation, Paul Neat drags in Ryan Walters and Matthew Binns in for pre-season training to talk about friendlies in Korea, the defunct Korean Super Cup and Team K League's infamous matchup with Juventus in 2019.

Pre-season Episode 2 - Transfers

Ryan Walters and Paul Neat sit down to discuss all the latest rumoured transfers and confirmed signings, taking a detailed look at FC Seoul's acquisition of Na Sang-ho and the outgoings at Ulsan. This is in addition to talking about their dream signings for the new season.

Pre-season Episode 3 - 2020: What Worked? What Didn't?

Ryan Walters and Paul Neat are joined by Pete Hampshire on the line from Gwangyang to take a final look back at the 2020 K League season and go over what worked and what didn't. Ever the optimists, they start with the good including K2 playoffs, Sangju Sangmu, and the league's COVID 19 response. They then turn their attention to the utter negative that is VAR, and the lack of global marketing.

Pre-season Episode 4 - New Rules for 2021

K League United's Head of Editorial Matthew Binns takes charge of the pre-season training session this week, hauling in columnists Peter Hampshire and Jung Muyeol to go over some of the new rules and regulations set to be enforced in 2021. There's also time for some military team hypotheticals before our KLU Pub Quiz winners Peter and Muyeol battle it out for the champion's crown in a Gwangju-Daegu lineup quiz.
