KLU Pod | 2020 KLU Fan Awards Ceremony

After tallying votes from across the globe, we (virtually) gathered to reveal the winners of the 2020 K League United Fan Awards!

Fully suited for the resplendent annual event, Ryan Walters is joined by Matthew Binns and Peter Hampshire to crown the best and brightest in Korean football's top two flights. They get started with everyone's favorite division, K League 2. They go over the nominees and winners of the fan vote for Newcomer, Comeback Player, Young Player, Defender, and Attacker of the Year. Along with announcing the winners, the hosts also assess whether or not they agree with the fan vote with a few surprises.

After a brief break, the K2 awards roll on with Golden Glove, Manager of the Year, and MVP. Ryan, Matthew, and Peter then reveal the KLU Editor's Best XI for K2 and explain some of the changes made from the fan vote.

The third segment sees K1 take center stage for the first time in the evening and Mr. Binns' smugness reach its usual November levels. They repeat the same process as K2 while also answering Eulji Lewis Mailbag questions throughout the show.
