KLU Pod | SIX in Seongnam, Hat Tricks Galore, & K2 Check In

A Chuseok special sees Ryan, Matt, and Paul reunite to discuss the Greatest of Escapes, 25 goals in K1, an absurdly close relegation battle, and K League 2.

Ryan Walters is joined by Matthew Binns and Paul Neat for the first time in a long time to discuss an electric opening to Final Rounds A and B in K League 1. With a total of 25 goals and three separate hat tricks, there's plenty to discuss in a look back on Round 23 in the top flight. The three discuss Jeonbuk drawing level on points with Ulsan after a narrow win over Sangju combined with (surprise surprise) Ulsan bottling it at the end against Daegu. The three also take a look ahead to Round 24 and give one thing to watch in each Final Round A match.

The second segment shifts focus to Final Round B where no one is safe from the drop as Incheon United continue the greatest of escapes. An emphatic 6-0 victory (their biggest margin in history) over Seongnam lifted Incheon off the bottom of the table and put everyone all the way up to seventh place in doubt of their survival chances.

Lastly, the hosts take a look at the two-horse race for the K League title between Jeju United and Suwon FC. With both sides on impressive unbeaten runs, can anyone stop them? Ryan, Matt, and Paul also discuss the playoff picture and what each team needs to do in order to stay on the right side of the dividing line.

All that and more in this edition of the K League United Podcast.
