KLU Pod | Preseason Prediction Check In

A little over half way through the shortened 2020 season, we take a look back at the good, bad, and "no longer in the league" predictions we made in early February.

Ryan Walters and the K League Cat are joined by Matthew Binns and Paul Neat in studio for the first time in six months to take a look back on what they thought would happen in K League 1 and 2 this season. The three start in K2 with table predictions that have mostly held the test of time. They then move into individual awards that... have not. With a few of the nominated players no longer in Korea and others vastly underperforming, Matt, Paul, and Ryan have the option to double down on their original pick, or regret their choice and nominate someone new.

The second segment sees the hosts go over some significantly more miscalculated K1 table predictions, including a very optimistic position for FC Seoul. The individual awards don't see as many regrets, but do garner quite a few shout outs to players hitting their stride this season.

very full Eulji Lewis Mailbag has questions on the fate of the post Choi Yong-soo FC Seoul, Incheon United's survival hopes, whether or not Junior Negrão is the best striker in Asia right now, and debating if Pohang has what it takes to finish in a Champions League position this year.

All that and more in this edition of the K League United Podcast.
