KLU Pod | Match Day 1 Recap

K League marked its emphatic return with millions tuning into the opening match on social media and plenty of fireworks on the pitch throughout the weekend.

It's finally back! Ryan WaltersMatthew Binns, and Dan Croydon discuss an exciting opening weekend of the 2020 K League season including the millions of eyes that were on Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors vs Suwon Samsung Bluewings, and their thoughts on that match. They then move on to title contenders Ulsan, and their emphatic 4-0 victory over Sangju Sangmu. They also discuss that Cho Jae-won goal and what Gangwon's win may mean this season.

Attention then shifts to returning sides Busan IPark and Gwangju FC and the somewhat disappointing outing each club had in their return to the top flight. Never to be left out, the three then turn their focus to K League 2 and discuss some stellar debuts. Before hopping into the Binn Bag, the three also give their marquee matches for this weekend's action in Round 2.

This week's edition of the Eulji Lewis Mailbag included questioning pre-season table predictions, the K2 playoffs, and which debutant had the best opening match. All that and more in this edition of the K League United Podcast.
