KLU Pod | AFC U23 Champions & ACL Preview
Our first episode of Season 3 starts with a look back on Korea Republic's AFC U23 Championship crown and a look ahead at the four K League teams competing in this year's AFC Champions League.
The usual off-season optimism has been kicked into overdrive in South Korea as the U23 squad came back from Thailand with a trophy in hand. Ryan Walters, Paul Neat and Matthew Binns go over what the win says about K League's youth development and highlight some of the standout performers.
The second segment sees the hosts dive into #ACL2020 and preview what to expect from Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors, Suwon Samsung Bluewings, Ulsan Hyundai, and FC Seoul. We analyze each group's opponents, the key players for the K League sides, biggest test in the group, and attempt a prediction at how far they can go.
In the final segment, we open the Eulji Lewis Mailbag with questions about U23 players ready to make the move to the senior national team, which club has the highest ACL aspirations, and more in this episode of The K League United Podcast.
