KLU Pod | The Hwang In-beom Interview

Hwang In-beom English Interview

This episode of the K League United Podcast sees site editor Paul Neat sits down with Vancouver Whitecaps midfielder, Korean National Team rising star and "The Son of Daejeon", Hwang In-beom for an exclusive English interview about the player's career so far, life in the MLS and where he sees his future heading.

The K League United Podcast draws its second series to a close with a memorable finale as site editor Paul Neat travels down to Daejeon to speak with one of the city's greatest exports, Vancouver Whitecaps midfielder Hwang In-beom.

The pair spoke about Hwang's time in the K League with both his hometown club Daejeon Citizen in addition to his contribution to Asan Mugunghwa's title-winning season whilst on military duty. There's talk of his national team success including the gold medal at the 2018 Asian Games, his senior call-up and an MVP showing at the recent EAFF E-1 Football Championships.

Hwang also talks bout his first season in the MLS, the differences he has encountered whilst trying to establish himself at Vancouver Whitecaps and where he hopes his future lies.

All this and more, on this series finale of The K League United Podcast.
