Breaking: K3 and K4 League Teams Confirmed

With the new K3 and K4 League system set to begin in 2020, the KFA today released the confirmed list of 28 teams who are set to compete in the new third and fourth tiers respectively. Teams from the old National League have joined K3 League, such as Daejeon Korail who reached the FA Cup semi-finals, whilst newly formed teams such as, Incheon Namdong Citizen, and Jinju Citizen will join K4.

The Korean National League was dissolved at the end of the 2019 season meaning that Gangneung City were the final team to finish at the top of the National League table, and Gyeongju KHNP the last National League Champions. All eight teams have no joined K3 League, along with sides from the old K3 Advanced. Promotion to and from K3 and K4 will start as soon as next season but fans will have to wait until around 2023 until the pyramid opens right up and there is movement between K3 and K League 2.
