After narrowly avoiding the drop with a 4-2 aggregate Promotion/Relegation Playoff Final win just under a week ago, FC Seoul have moved quickly to secure their first signing of the winter with the permanent  transfer of 24-year-old midfielder Ikromjon Alibaev from Uzbek top flight team Lokamotiv Tashkent.

This Uzbeki international, who has nine caps for his country so far, is eligible to be registered under the Asian quota rule which permits K League clubs to sign an additional foreign player from another Asian nation.

Alibaev scored a brace before being sent off in extra time during Uzbekistan's 4-3 extra time defeat to Korea in the Asian Games quarter finals and came on as a second-half substitute during the recent friendly match with the Taeguk Warriors in Australia last month.
