Koreans Abroad Weekend Preview and Midweek Recap

All matches on Saturday, most in a narrow window, and might be a bit tough for me to watch live but of course I'll watch as I can before writing recap.

Son Heung Min -- Son played well for a stretch midweek in CL but it was a tough slog with the rain taking away some of his pace advantage, Tottenham completely losing the battle at times in central midfield, and leaving huge holes for Leverkusen's frantic pace to exploit.  Good news was that Son was one of better attackers on the night, but bad news was that Tottenham didn't get to attack as much as they should, and the other attacking midfield was poor.

Lee Chung Yong -- Will continue to warm the bench I imagine.  Tough breaks as he looks rustier in KNT playing than he has in a while.

Ki Sung Yueng -- I don't think Bradley changes his midfield pecking order based on last weekend so bench for Ki.

Ji Dong Won -- He missed some training this week... hopefully nothing serious as Augsburg needs all the players it can get.  Schmid looked good for once out wide, so we'll see how Schuster puts an XI together.  I suspect if Ji can go 90 that he will start.

Koo Ja Cheol -- With Kohr returning, Schmid's positive contributions last week, it will be curious to see where Koo lines up, as CAM or RM or what.  Hopefully last weekend was only a first step towards finding his form from last season but I do expect him to start.

Park Joo Ho -- PJH wasn't eligible to play midweek, and with Pizczek being protected during midweek training, I think PJH will start on the left but it's unclear how Tuchel will use PJH.  He should at least make the bench, and hopefully start to get back on positive side.

Kim Jin Su -- Was sick midweek and whatever chance he had of even making bench went out the window.
