Vote for the 2015 K-League Awards

It is our pleasure to announce the nominees for this year’s K-League United 2015 Season Awards, our chance to honor the year’s best footballing achievements. Below are the categories and nominees as well as some links to the most spectacular goals of the season. Have fun making your picks and don't be shy about sharing!

Big thanks to all of our writers and the fine folks over at ROK Football Forum for creating the shortlist.

  1. I know that Oršić had a disappointed performances over the last couple of games, but man he deserved to be a candidate for offensive player of the year.

    1. I voted for him, but he didn't make the short list. Has a good shot at Newcomer of the Year though.

  2. Jonathon should have been in the shortlist for MVP and offensive player of the season. He has scored more goals than any other player across the two leagues and is dragging Daegu up into the top division...

Joo Min-Kyu came out of nowhere after doing nothing special at Goyang for two seasons. Sounds like a case of the right place at the right time got the best out of him.

    1. The numbers certainly back you up. Unfortunately he didn't receive any nominations from our writers or those from ROKfootball Forum that submitted votes. Definitely needs to get an honorable mention and/or a write-in campaign to have him win it!

    2. He has come on strong in the second half that is for sure. While 11 goals after the first 22 games in nothing to sneeze at he really hit the accelerator from August with 12 from 14. That run of goals puts them at the top and he just needs to keep scoring to go up.
